Researchers must conduct their research in a manner consistent with the standards set out in The University of Queensland policies and procedures and in the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (the Code). UQ is committed to upholding standards of integrity in research and scholarship and considers deviations from these standards as serious. Although uncommon, research misconduct can occur at any premier research institution, including UQ. This course will emphasise what constitutes responsible conduct of research and will explore the underlying practices and behaviours that may constitute research misconduct. Participants will become well versed with the Code and recently revised University policies and procedures.
